For 20+ years, Shawn has infectiously guided those he has been entrusted to serve, lead, develop, and empower to achieve success. From his early days as co-captain for the 2006 Rutgers Football team to spearheading a nationally recognized student-development program, to assisting with the securement of six and seven-figure gifts, to launching multiple faith-based ministries in New Jersey, and to leading a nearly 100-person workforce as the AVP and Director of Athletics at New Jersey City University (NJCU), Shawn subscribes to a leadership philosophy that yields transformative results and pioneering impact. Shawn currently serves as the Vice President for Athletic Development for the Rutgers University Foundation (RUF) and works on the executive leadership team for RUF and Rutgers Athletics.
